LIFE ( Ecuadorean Pharmaceutical Industrial Laboratories) was founded in June 1940 in Quito, Ecuador and it has evolved into a leading pharmaceutical entity within the national and international markets.

LIFE´s up to date installations in the city of Quito, allow the production of a wide variety of pharmaceutical forms in strict adherence to internationally accepted Good Manufacturing Practices.

It has production facilities for Large Volume Parenterals ( the only producers in Ecuador), injectables, extemporaneous suspensions, syrups, tablets, capsules, etc. There is also a separate plant for the formulation of penicillinics.

Additionally, for Animal Health there is biological production of vaccines and bacterines.
